9 weeks

I am 9 weeks pregnant today! I have had a rough few weeks. Morning sickness and exhaustion kicked in around 6 weeks and have been going strong since. Working in a kitchen is really tough with all of the different smells but hopefully it will end around 12 weeks. I had my first ultrasound at 7 weeks and saw the heartbeat. My next is at 11 weeks and we should be able to see more.

yay! im glad you started a blog, this way I can see your cute belly. You are still so tiny...a few more wks and you'll have a baby belly. I hope you are feeling well. Ive been meaning to send you this book I have that made me laugh during my morning sickness...the only thing that did. Ill try and send it this week. Love you!

I'm Pregnant!!

I was pretty sure I was knocked up before I peed on the stick. I had a pretty rough week and was patiently waiting until the end of the week to test. I came home from work on Thursday and rushed to the bathroom since I had been saving up all afternoon. The test was digital so i sat waiting for a yes. It actually took awhile and I decided if it was a no I would retire to the back porch with a bottle of Pinot Noir. Yeah!!! It was yes. Holy shit!!! OK, so my husband is on his way home and we have plans to go to Cafe Zen (sushi). How am I going to wait till dinner? Well I did, but not ordering sake might have given it away, or it might of been the throwing up, the burping, and the sudden distaste I had for wine. Evan was not that surprised but super excited so we ordered some cooked rolls for me and discussed baby Benson.
